Months: September through December and January through May.
Target Audience: Girls in grades K-8. New Auditions are always welcome. Please come to the rehersal corresponding to the grade level of your daughter.

Fees: Tuition is $200/semester. Audition fee is $10 for prospective members. Additional expenses include cost of costumes and accessories and fees for special events.Scholarship assistance is available based on need and available funds.

Prep Choir (Approx. Grades K-3)
Active participation based on the theory of "rote before note - sound before sight" is encouraged. The goal is to develop music thinking skills as well as improvement in the level of musicianship through creativity, improvisation and musical discipline. Girls will learn a variety of songs from different styles, including both unison and part singing.Placement in the Prep choir is based on both age and skill level.
Directed by Emily Terry.Practice is from 4:30-5:30 PM.

Main Choir (Approx. Grades 4-8)
Girls will develop a diverse repertoire that includes contemporary, classical, gospel, folk, patriotic, seasonal, and foreign songs.Girls are introduced to music theory.Girls will learn the discipline of blending voices and singing parts using printed music and the ear.
Directed by Jerri Foster. Practice is from 5-6:30 PM.

The La Cueva HS Choir Room is on the South side of the HS, enter off of Wilshire Ave, the Eastern most parking lot entrance, then a quick left, parking is limited there.
